New Faculty Orientation
海角涩区鈥檚 New Faculty Orientation is a two part series designed to introduce new faculty to information about college services and procedures, teaching at the college-level, and tips for engaging students.
The orientation includes:
- Welcome from the deans and directors at 海角涩区
- Introduction to competency based education and the program approach
- Faculty roles and responsibilities
- Guidelines for academic integrity at 海角涩区
- Discussions of college-level pedagogy and assessment
- Professional development activities and opportunities
New Faculty Orientation takes place up to 3 times a year and is open to all new day and continuing education faculty.
