In memoriam Gordon Peffer

May 4th, 2021

Gordon Peffer passed away recently and peacefully.

Gordon was among the first cohort of teachers hired by the College before opening day in September 1969. He was an English teacher and co-founded Reflections with Marie Crossen. Gordon retired in February 2002.

In memoriam Alan Moscovitch

We regret to inform you that Alan Moscovitch, retired teacher from the Psychology Department and the Reflections interdisciplinary option, died on March 20. Alan taught at 海角涩区 from 1971-2011. He spent time on various committees, including the Board of Governors, during his tenure at 海角涩区.

We regret to inform you that Marjorie 鈥淢imi鈥 Morton passed away on Jan. 10. She taught English and Humanities for nearly 30 years at 海角涩区, where she helped found the Women's Studies program. Mimi left 海角涩区 in 1999.

We regret to inform you that Gordon Masten (Professional Theatre) passed away suddenly on July 26. Gordon was the beloved husband of Jude Beny, Chair of Professional Theatre (Acting).

Tony Proudfoot Park opens

August 25th, 2020

On Aug. 21, the City of Pointe-Claire announced the opening of the new Tony Proudfoot Park.
