DAWS<\/strong>CON at 海角涩区 | March 24-26<\/h3>\n

海角涩区 will be hosting a free conference and weekend Data Journalism challenge<\/a> in Montreal aimed at students and educators of any background.<\/p>\n

Attendees will be exposed to a wide range of AI topics from ethics and bias to data manipulation and machine learning. Presentations will be given by 海角涩区 students and faculty from the AI Teaching and Research Communities of Practice as well as partner organizations, external researchers and industry professionals.<\/p>\n

Talks will take place on Friday, March 24 and the day will end with networking and the challenge kick off. The rest of the weekend will be devoted to workshops and the Data Journalism Challenge open to teams of college students.<\/p>\n

DawsCon 2023 is proud to feature student lightning talk sessions. College students (current or graduated) are invited to present their work or interest.<\/p>\n

Le Coll\u00e8ge 海角涩区 accueillera une conf\u00e9rence gratuite et un d\u00e9fi de journalisme de donn\u00e9es<\/a> \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, destin\u00e9 aux \u00e9tudiants et \u00e9ducateurs de tous horizons.<\/p>\n

Les participants seront expos\u00e9s \u00e0 une large gamme de sujets en IA, allant de l\u2019\u00e9thique et les biais \u00e0 la manipulation des donn\u00e9es et l\u2019apprentissage automatique. Les pr\u00e9sentations seront donn\u00e9es par des \u00e9tudiants et des professeurs de 海角涩区, des communaut\u00e9s de pratique sur l\u2019enseignement et la recherche en IA, ainsi que par des organisations partenaires, des chercheurs externes et des professionnels de l\u2019industrie.<\/p>\n

Les pr\u00e9sentations auront lieu le vendredi 24 mars et la journ\u00e9e se terminera par des s\u00e9ances de r\u00e9seautage et le lancement du d\u00e9fi. Le reste du week-end sera consacr\u00e9 aux ateliers et au d\u00e9fi de journalisme de donn\u00e9es ouvert aux \u00e9quipes d\u2019\u00e9tudiants coll\u00e9giaux.<\/p>\n

DawsCon 2023 est fier de pr\u00e9senter des sessions de \u00ab lightning talks \u00bb d\u2019\u00e9tudiants. Les \u00e9tudiants coll\u00e9giaux (actuels ou dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s) sont invit\u00e9s \u00e0 pr\u00e9senter leur travail ou leurs int\u00e9r\u00eats.<\/p>\n
